My name is Dave Boothroyd, I am 17 and I am currently studying for my A-levels at Balcarras Sixth Form in Cheltenham,
Glos. I study Art, French and Psychology. I hope to study French at Uni and then at some point become a primary
teacher.
A few months ago I decided that taking a gap year would be a good idea, So in September I went on a selection course
for the educational charity Project Trust.

After a great week digging mud, giving presentations and writing essays (hmm) I was chosen to go to South Africa.
So in August or September of 2005 I will be leaving and spending a whole year teaching.
